The Beginning: Born Into Struggle
I was not born into privilege – and that’s putting it mildly.
I was born to a single mother fighting to survive, and later raised by a grandmother who could barely feed herself, let alone a growing boy with big dreams. Hunger, instability, and the heavy weight of poverty marked my earliest memories.
School was never a straight path. I dropped in and out of school several times from the age of 13 and never got beyond my SSCE. With each struggle, my resolve to conquer poverty grew stronger. and a deep hunger for more, beyond what my environment could offer, kept me going. A fierce determination not to let my starting line define my future kept me alive.

I became obsessed with growth – personal, strategic, and sustainable. I started several businesses, hustling to make ends meet before founding Hastom Nigeria – now the country’s leading agribusiness and real estate company specializing in farmland acquisition, management, input distribution, and commodity trade – built from the ground up with no guarantees and no big investors.
Through Hastom, I pioneered the concept of absentee farming across Africa, empowering individuals to profit from agriculture without abandoning their careers – and opening up new paths for agricultural entrepreneurship across the continent.
Expanding beyond farmland, I envisioned a city, that becomes a model city for secondary cities in Nigeria and beyond – and Valor City was born. As Africa’s first Human Development Smart City, Valor City is a bold innovation in community building: a place engineered not just for living, but for growing human capacity, leadership, and legacy.
I also launched a training institute to raise a new generation of professional farm managers who could drive real success on the continent.
But I was not finished.
